Jess took the words right out of my mouth. That is beautiful work. I don't know what I like more the birds eye or the flame maple. Nice looking dovetails as well on the drawers. What kind of finish did you use on there?

I used Bush Oil, two coats. If you use oil and have never tried it I suggest trying it. You can order it online at http://www.lakeshorehardwoods.com/ProductPricing.html

Wow that was an interesting journey. I was getting lost in the site, and really go immersed in the photo page. So tell me more about the oil. How does it compare to other oils that are popular like tongue, danish, BLO etc. I am always looking for new finishing products. Bob

It applies just like all the other oils. It seemed to make the grain pop better with less coats to get a great finish.

Grizzly Man-
I am curious to know if you are anyone has used this finish on a wood turning.
I use blo and tung oil frequently as a finish. I often apply the oil to the piece as it is spinning and then let dry overnight.
If I can get a response I will move this to the turner's and finishing forums to share the product.
Thanks-
Jess

I have never used it on wood turnings but I'm assuming that it would give you a great finish.
